A Journey through Time, Trauma, and Triumph

A transcendent project that blurs the boundaries of fashion, as we present an extraordinary collection that breathes new life into forgotten materials donated due to non-use or discovered amidst the vibrant streets of the Masada neighborhood. This is a tale of transformation, where garments embody the essence of post-traumatic human existence, weaving a narrative of resilience, renewal, and the indomitable spirit that defies adversity.

Every piece within this remarkable collection immerses you in an exquisite experience, a visual ode to the journey of a soul navigating the crevices and imperfections of its being. It is a tale that fashions a new canvas from the scratches and remnants of the past, preserving the echoes of its history while embarking upon an uncharted future. This collection is a poignant reflection of my soul, my home, my street, my neighborhood, and the very fabric of my environment—an embodiment of the present that weaves together the threads of the past, gazing steadfastly towards the horizon of tomorrow.

The garments and silhouettes are intricately intertwined with diverse periods and a tapestry of emotions associated with individuals who left an indelible mark upon my life, helping me navigate complex moments and challenging times. Twenty outfits, inspired by twenty remarkable souls, represent a symphony of gratitude and resilience, interlacing my personal trauma from two decades past into each stitch and fold.

Twenty years have passed since the untimely departure of my beloved mother, and while this collection is not a somber reminiscence of Mother Linda, it is undeniably dedicated to her cherished memory—a testament to the love and appreciation that permeates everything I undertake. It is a collection that stands as a resounding tribute to Father Jabra and Mother Hanin, two pillars of unwavering support who were always there, guiding me through the ebb and flow of life's currents.

It all began with my profound affection for a purple blanket—an enduring symbol of comfort bestowed upon me by those who cared. That very blanket, which enfolded me in warmth and a sense of belonging upon my arrival in Haifa, has been transformed into a resplendent coat, infused with memories and a palpable sense of home. It is joined by a jacket from an adored aunt, a cherished childhood blanket, a friend's tenderly offered warmth, and a neighbor's discarded sheet. The ensemble expands to include a curtain discovered near the neighborhood café, and even a meticulously handcrafted tapestry from 1953, bearing embroidered signatures, found amidst the treasures abandoned in the flea market's cast-offs. Each material arrived at the studio, carrying a distinct story and imbued with its own unique journey.

This captivating collection, available for all identities, showcases exquisite pieces at prices ranging up to NIS 700 per item. With only one copy of each garment, this limited edition collection can be pre-purchased, ensuring a cherished place within the tapestry of your personal style.

Prepare to embark on a mesmerizing voyage through time, trauma, and triumph as you bear witness to this exceptional collection. Let the intertwining narratives of transformation, gratitude, and unyielding spirit envelop you in their embrace. This is a project that transcends fashion, encapsulating a profound testament to the power of creativity, resilience, and the enduring human spirit.
